Episode 34.4

I wonder if anyone on this season will end up serving on their third jury. To date, only Rupert has made the jury three different times. The way things are going, I’m not sure if that will end up happening or not. Malcolm has now joined Ciera and Russell Hantz as three time players who have always gotten a worse placement each time they played. I haven’t checked what my predictions were, but I have the feeling that they are way off now.

Good news, everyone! Survivor is renewed for more seasons. Yay! Well, it is renewed for at least one other season, but I have no idea why they wouldn’t do two seasons at the same time. I do wonder if this show will ever end. You’d think that it would at some point, but I have no idea when that could be.

I know that there has to be alternates for a season like this. I don’t know who was considered for this season that didn’t make the cast yet or not. Well, I know that Natalie from San Juan del Sur was almost in the cast. But I don’t know who else was considered. It was weird not knowing who the alternates for Caramoan were for quite some time. I guess there just wasn’t the information there for it or not. At one point, we knew more alternates for South Pacific than we did for Caramoan.

I’m not sure if there have been many Survivor dreams that I’ve been having lately. I recently dreamt about Erik from Micronesia. It mostly just related to his huge mistake of giving up immunity and the events that lead up to it. I forget if it focused on his time in Caramoan or not. But enough of my ramblings.

In the first segment of the show, we get back to the tribe that lost Malcolm. I can’t keep track of them. Nuku was the tribe. JT wanted Sandra out, which is why he leaked the plans. Instead, another one of his moves backfires. JT finds an idol clue. He then finds the idol. Hopefully, he can use it better than the last time he had an idol.

In the second segment of the show, we get to the next challenge, which is one on a small island. I think that the green tribe loses. Debbie is failing at the challenge, so this may be what causes her outrage. Debbie thinks that it’s Brad’s fault for the loss their tribe has since he dictates the challenge, even though she mentioned having good balance.

In the third segment of the show, Sarah talks to Troyzan. She wants an idol and tells him that. We then get to Debbie getting really upset. For some reason, Debbie thinks that Hali is the one who failed at the challenge. What is going on here? I don’t understand why she’s getting so upset. If this gets rid of Brad somehow, it might work out. But it looks like it could bite her in the ass.

In the fourth segment of the show, coffee is being made on Nuku. This gets JT really irritated because Michaela takes too much of it. Sandra then stirs the pot by eating the rest of the sugar. She does this in front of Jeff Varner. Man, do I love it when Sandra can cause dysfunction like this. Michaela wants to kill JT over this, which is a totally natural response, not. Tai looks for another idol on his tribe. Look in a hole in a tree! He finds a clue, but not an idol just yet. We then get to the immunity challenge. I might have been wrong earlier when I thought that Debbie blew the reward challenge. She gets mad at the challenge, but her tribe still comes in first. It is the Nuku tribe that loses.

In the fifth segment of the show, JT tries to get Michaela out of the game. She realized that this is the type of challenge that got her voted out the first time. Sandra wants to get out JT as vengeance for Malcolm getting the boot in the last episode. Jeff Varner appears to be in the middle of the two sides trying to fight for power. Will he join JT and Aubry or Michaela and Sandra?

At tribal council, the people talk about the last, crazy tribal council. Somehow, this is JT’s most excited tribal council instead of the one where he beat Stephen for the win. JT thinks that they have been babysitting Michaela. I think that JT is being rude. Sandra comes to Michaela’s defense. Everyone thinks that the vote is clear. They vote and nobody plays an idol. Somehow, Michaela has a cup of coffee during this time. Weird. The person voted out is poor JT who failed to use his idol. Man, he is now with Ozzy as the only players to have two idols and not use them right either time.

On the next Survivor, there is another tribe swap, Exile Island is back, and a former Survivor is returning somehow. I’m guessing that they are just visiting, but who and why is unknown. It seems weird to me that such a thing would happen. Surely it wasn’t someone voted out of the game, is it? Man, I’m getting really confused here by this season.

Total confessional count: Sandra- 15, Cirie- 6, Hali- 6, Sarah- 3, Ozzy- 4, Troyzan- 5, Zeke- 3, Sierra- 3, JT- 11, Tai- 7, Jeff Varner- 7, Debbie- 9, Andrea- 3, Aubry- 4, Michaela- 8, Brad- 7.

New confessionals this episode: Brad- 1, Sandra- 3, Cirie- 0, Hali- 1, Sarah- 1, Ozzy- 0, Troyzan- 1, Zeke- 0, Sierra- 0, JT- 5, Tai- 2, Jeff Varner- 2, Debbie- 3, Andrea- 0, Aubry- 1, Michaela- 3.

JT had five confessionals this episode, the highest out of everyone. The next highest are Debbie, Sandra, and Michaela, all with three each. Sierra, Andrea, Cirie, Ozzy, and Zeke all have no confessionals this episode. As for the total count, JT had eleven confessionals. The only person who is higher than him is Queen Sandra with fifteen. The lowest in the total count right now are Andrea, Sarah, Zeke, and Sierra, who all have just three confessionals. I wonder how things could change for them in the future. We’ll see. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
